The National Indoor U13/U15/U20 Championships take place on the weekend of Saturday 18/Sunday 19 February at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

For athletes who have been competing regularly, this is a chance to test yourself against the best athletes in Scotland!

Standards

For Scottish National Championships, the club will submit entries and will pay the entry fees for athletes, subject to a few conditions.

Athletes should have been competing already this season and have met the club’s minimum entry standard.

The entry standards are a guide for parents/coaches when deciding whether to enter an athlete, to ensure the National Championships is an appropriate level of competition for the athlete.

Events

A provisional timetable and event listing are available on the club website.

As this is a National event with potentially multiple heats and rounds, at which athletes should be focussing on competing in their strongest events and giving their best possible performance, the club will enter athletes into a maximum of 2 events.

However, depending on the timetable, it may only be feasible to compete in 1 event, so please check the provisional timetable when considering what events to enter.

Under SA rules, U13/U15 athletes can enter one circular event only - 200m or 300m or 800m or 1500m.

Entry

Entries open today - as there are limited places available, please enter as soon as possible to secure your place.

We do recommend that athletes discuss event selection with their lead coach before entering.

Club entries will close at midnight on Wednesday 25 January..

For athletes outwith the entry standard, the entry fee is £9.50/11.50 per event.
