The club cross country season finished on Saturday at the National Cross Country Championships at Calendar Park, Falkirk, with 16 Livingston athletes tackling the challenging course in extreme weather conditions.
Congratulations to Rowan Whitworth who was second in the U13 Boys race. Rowan secured the silver medal in 11:28 on the 3.1K course.
In the U13 Girls race, also on a 3.1K course, Mia Sokoluk was 12th in 13:05, Imogen Marshall was 95th in 15:00, Rebecca Douglas was 100th in 15:05 and Hope Hinchclifee was 124th in 16:17.
The U13 Girls team placed 15th overall in the team results on 331 points.
Logan Beagley was 18th in the U15 Boys race, completing the 4.1K course in 16:03. Elliot Frame was 34th in 16:31.
In the U17 Womens race, on a 2 lap 6.1K course, Shannon Prevost was 44th in 29:51 and Zoe Dunn was 51st in 31:51.
Andrew McGill was 5th in the 6.1K U17 Mens race in 21:47. Alastair Marshall was 14th in 22:34, Fraser Holman was 16th in 22:44 and Jonathan Marshall was 62nd in 25:07.
Overall the quartet finished 4th with 97 points in the team placings, agonisingly close to a team medal with bronze just 3 points away.
In the U20 Womens race, on a 6.7K course, Katie Craig was 21st in 33:01.
Cameron Tweedie was 71st in the 6.7K U20 Mens race in 34:19.
