Louise Hits Medal Run

 14 July 2003

Livingston Amateur Athletics Club star Louise Crilly clinched third place in the women's 200m with a tremendous run at the Scottish Senior Championships at Glasgow's Scotstoun Stadium last weekend.

The 15-year-old West Lothian runner, who is trained by Bob Inglis, collected a bronze medal at the event with a time of 25.65 seconds and she'll be hoping to emulate that achievement with a good display at the Schools International Match in Cardiff later this week.

And the club's Michelle Henderson was fourth in the 200m with an impressive time of 25.82.

Livingston AAC also had a number of other competitors at the Senior Championships and they recorded the following results:

Men's 100m - Darren Tang, 11.78; Neil Boyle, 11.43; Craig Andrew, 12.00; Scott Boyle (semi-Final time), 11:07. Women's 100m - Michelle Henderson, 12.79.

Men's 200m - Darren Tang, 24.24.

Women's 200m - Louise Crilly, 25.65; Michelle Henderson, 25.82; Fiona Stewart (semi-final time), 29.24.
