At Grangemouth on the last weekend in August, three of the club's senior male athletes were in action at the fourth and final match of the Scottish (Men's) Athletics League.

They teamed up with Lasswade AC for the fourth time this season to give our athletes a much valued extra competition opportunity.

John McOmish, with a throw of 25.99m in the javelin, was the only club athlete to set a personal best. John's throw added 48cm to the personal best he set in Carlisle in April 2008, and put him 5th place in the "B" string event.
