The National U13/U15/U20 Championships take place on the weekend of Saturday 18/Sunday 19 August March in Aberdeen.
For athletes who compete regularly in league matches and other District or National level events, this is a chance to test yourself against the best athletes in Scotland!
Entry
For all Scottish Athletics District/National Championships, the club submit entries and will pay the entry fees for athletes paying monthly membership fees (subject to a few conditions which are available below).
One condition of the club paying entry fees is that athletes should be discussing and agreeing event selection with their lead coach before entering.
After the entry has been agreed with the athlete's lead coach, please enter online using the links below before midnight on Sunday 5 August. No late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
We now have minimum entry standards for U13 and U15 athletes as a guide for parents/coaches when deciding whether to enter an athlete, to ensure the National Championships is an appropriate level of competition for the athlete.
Events
A provisional timetable and event listing are available below. U13 events are on the Saturday, U15 events are on the Sunday and U20 events are both days.
As this is a National level event with potentially multiple heats and rounds, at which athletes should be focussing on competing in their strongest events and giving their best possible performance, the club will enter athletes into a maximum of 2 events.
However, depending on the timetable, it may only be feasible to compete in 1 event, so please check the provisional timetable when considering what events to enter.
