Availability

Please use the availability form to let to let the team managers know if you're available or not for this match. For league matches, availability forms should always be submitted, even if you're not available!

The last date to confirm availability is midnight on Sunday 15 April.

To assist the team managers with selecting teams, can you please note on the availability form whether you are available for the second and third matches.

Selection

Once the availability period has closed, the team managers will get feedback from lead coaches on the athletes who are available, and then they will select the teams. The provisional teams sheets are usually posted in the pavilion and emailed during the week before the competition.

As this is a half-day team competition with only 2 places per event per team, most athletes will only be doing 1 or 2 events, and may not be doing their favourite event! At league matches, the emphasis is on participation and competing as a part of a team, with all selected club members expected to take part.

The points scoring system means that it's important that we have competitors in all events at a match. Athletes that do an event for the first time "to get a point" are just as important a part of the team as the athletes that win events.
