Last Wednesday and Thursday, 31 Livingston athletes were representing their schools at the Scottish Schools Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Isla Calvert won double gold in the U16G 800m and 1500m, with sister Sarah repeating the same feat in the older age category. Sarah's 1500m (4:29.69)was also a club record.

Eve Allison also equalled a club record with a personal best and bronze medal winning jump of 1.60m the O16G high jump.

Tia Henry was also on the podium with a silver medal in the O16G shot putt, throwing a personal best of 11.56m.

There was also big personal bests in the 800m from Alastair Marshall (2:05.54) and Angus McDonald (2:23.86), and in the 400m from Ricky Arthurs (54.03).

Just outside the medals, Alastair Marshall finished 4th in the U16B 800m and Iona McDonald was 4th in the O16G 300m.
