National Indoor Combined Events Championships

Four Livingston athletes were in action at the Emirates Arena over the weekend in the Scottish National Combined Events Championships.

Lucy Boules was competing in her first pentathlon, finishing 24th with 1122 points in the U13 girls pentathlon.

In the U17 mens heptathlon, Matthew Boules set new personal bests in the 60m (7.75) and pole vault (2.67m), to finish 7th in personal best and club record score of 3654. Matthew's pole vault was also a new club record.

Tia Henry secured a silver medal in the U20 womens pentathlon with a club record score of 3083 points, and also set a club record in the 60m hurdles (9.56) at the start of the day.

Eve Allison was close behind, winning a bronze medal with a personal best pentathlon score of 2937 points. Eve also set personal bests in the 60m hurdles (9.79), shot putt (7.78m) and high jump (1.56m).
