The East District Cross Country Championships were back at Livingston on Saturday, with the event held at Dechmont Law Park.
Sixteen Livingston athletes were competing in cold and frosty conditions.
Congratulations to Alastair Marshall who was the silver medallist in the U15 boys race. Alastair completed the 3.9K course in 13:16, just 4 seconds behind the winner. Also in the U15 boys race, Fraser Morris was 28th in 15:18 and Jonathan Marshall was 34th in 15:33. The boys were 6th overall.
In the U15 girls race, also run on a 3.9K course, Isla Calvert was 4th in 14:53, Charlie Maree Nolan was 11th in 15:52 and Sophie Ure was 43rd in 19:30. The girls were 5th overall.
James Vivian was 25th in 12:41 in the 3.2K U13 boys race.
In the U17 womens race, Sarah Calvert was 4th in 19:09 and Katie Craig was 15th in 20:48. The girls were running on a 6.4K course.
The U20 women ran the same course with Hannah Mairs finishing 20th in 23:00.
Alastair White finished 23rd in the U20 mens race, completing the 8.0K course in 38:19. Ryan White was 268th in the combined Senior/Masters mens race with 47:12 for the 9.6K course.
