On Saturday 14 January, twenty-one Livingston athletes were at Broxburn for the third and final round of the East District Cross Country League.
In the U11 girls race, Hannah Collings was 54th in 7:26, Kirsten Morris was 56th in 7:34 and Roxanne Hardie was 59th 7:34. The girls ran a 1.4K course.
There was three U11 boys in action for the first time in several years. Running the same 1.4K course, Jonathan Collings finished 63rd in 6:35, Matthew MacIver was 86th in 7:27 and Daniel Sutherland was 87th in 7:27.
The U13 girls were running a 2.7K course with Charlie Maree Nolan finishing 4th in 11:10 and Sophie Ure finishing 53rd in 13:38.
In the U13 boys races, also on a 2.7K course, Elliot Frame was 18th in 11:04, James Vivian was 43rd in 11:45 and Euan MacIver was 61st in 12:52.
Jack Cruickshank made his club debut in the U15 boys race, finishing the 4.1K course 18th in 15:56. Finlay MacIver was 43rd in 20:47.
In the combined U15 girls/U17 womens race, Sarah Calvert was 5th in 16:06, Hannah Mairs was 44th in 20:37, Eilidh McFadden was 48th in 23:25 and Alex White was 49th in 24:46. The race was also run on the 4.1K course with the team finishing 8th in the overall race placings.
The Senior men were running a 3 lap 8.1K course, with Steve Thomson finishing 188th in 37:43, Alastair White was 207th in 39:23 and Ryan White was 235th in 41:56.

The final cross country race of the season is the National Championships at Calendar Park, Falkirk, on Saturday 25 February. Entries are now open.
