The club was represented in the Scottish East District Cross Country Relay Championships last Saturday by four junior teams.

The event was held at Dechmont Law Park, Livingston, for the first time since 2013 .

The teams were mixed age group for U13 to U17 with 3 athletes per team. Each athlete in the team ran a 2.5K lap.

The junior girls "A" team of Charlie Maree Nolan, Isla Calvert and Courtney Moffat finished 6th in 29:53, and the "B" team of Sophie Ure, Katie Craig and Nikki Kinghorn were 23rd in 34:09.

Charlie Maree Nolan's individual time of 10:05 was the 10th fastest U13 girls time for the course and Isla Calvert's individual time of 9:36 was the 4th fastest U15 girls time for the course!

In the junior boys race, the "A" team of Elliot Frame, Alastair Marshall and Aidan Brady finished 20th in 29:30, and the "B" team of James Vivian, Fraser Morris and Rhys Findly were 23rd in 29:50.

Well done to everyone who competed. Both individually and as team the performances, effort and results were fantastic with every team running faster than last year!
