During the summer season, the club are again holding four Open Meetings at Craigswood Sports Centre on Wednesday nights - the second event is on Wednesday 25 May.
Open meetings give athletes an extra opportunity to compete, and try new events or set personal bests, without the formalities of league/championship competitions.
All athletes who attend training on Monday and Wednesday nights are expected to take part in these competitions. For any new members, these events are an ideal first competition.
Events
A provisional timetable and event listing are available in the flyer below.
Some events are on the same time, so please check the provisional timetable before deciding what events to enter.
If you would like advice on what events to enter, please speak to your coach at training and they will be happy to help.
New for 2016 - Under 11 track events will be 80m, 150m, 600m as per the guidance in UKA rule 107.2.
Entry
Entries must be made in advance using the online entry form via the link below. There are no late entries or entries on the day.
The closing date for all entries is midnight on Sunday 22 May.
At some meetings last year, several events reached capacity before the closing date, so please enter early to avoid disappointment!
The entry fee is £3.50 per event which can be paid online via PayPal.
Open meeting entry is currently free for junior club members, however parents are expected to assist at least twice per year at club events.
