The East District Cross Country Championships took place at Dechmont Law Park, Livingston, on Saturday 12th December with fourteen athletes competing in cold and wet conditions.
In the 3.2K U13 girls race, Isla Calvert was 7th in 12:57 and Sophie Ure was 62nd in 16:19.
There was a full team in the U13 boys race, also run on the same 3.2K course. Fraser Morris was 26th in 13:19, Alister Brown was 33rd in 13:46 and Alastair Marshall was 46th in 14:30. Overall the boys team finished 8th.
In the 3.9K U15 girls race, Courtney Moffat was 14th in 16:28 and Holly White was 40th in 21:42.
The U15 boys also had a full team and finished 12th overall. Individually, Ruari Bell was 54th in 16:43 for the 3.9K course, Aidan Brady was 61st in 17:35 and Matthew Boules was 63rd in 17:37.
Hannah Mairs was 28th in the 5.1K U17 womens race with a time of 24:37, and Nick Wardlow was 37th in the U17 mens race with a time of 34:23 for the 6.4K course.
In the U20 mens race, run on an 8.0K course, Alastair White was 25th in 34:06 and Ryan White was 27th in 35:48.
