Road Running Round-Up

At the recent West Lothian College 5K road race, Louise Crilly, the club's only representative, was the 2nd fastest female, finishing the 5km course in a personal best time of 21:19.
Louise was competing again last Wednesday at the Self Transcendence 1 Mile Road Race, held at the Meadows, Edinburgh, where she was the 3rd fasted female finisher, completing the 1 mile loop in 5:39.
Other club athletes were close behind, with Yvonne Crilly the 4th fastest female with a time of 5:41 and Sue McDowall 13th in 6:38.
The Self Transcendence summer race series is run on a flat accurately measured one mile loop at The Meadows, Edinburgh, every Wednesday evening, with races starting at 7.00pm and entry on the night at £1.50.
