East District XC Relay Champs Results

The club was represented in the Scottish East District Cross Country Relay Championships last Sunday by three junior teams.
The event was held at Peebles for the second year on a challenging hillside course.
The teams were mixed age group, for under 13s to under 17s, with 3 athletes per team. Each athlete ran a 2.5K lap.
The junior girls team of Isla Calvert, Courtney Moffat and Nikki Kinghorn finished 5th in 31:02. The other girls team of Charlie Maree Nolan, Iona McDonald and Hannah Mairs were 20th in 34:25.
Isla Calvert's individual time of 9:48 was the third fastest U13 girls time for the course and Courtney Moffat's individual time of 10:12 was the sixth fastest U15 girls time for the course!
The junior boys team of Fraser Morris, Alastair Marshall and Aidan Brady were 18th in 31:42.
Well done to everyone competed. Both individually and as team the performances, effort and results were fantastic with every team running faster than last year!
