West Lothian Council offer an annual sports scholarship for talented athletes. The sports scholarship pass is for individuals who have represented their sport at regional, district or national level, or those who can demonstrate that they have the potential to compete at these levels.

West Lothian Council also use the Athletics Data 2008 standards as a guide to eligibility for a scholarship pass. A full list of standards is available in the file below.

The sports scholarship pass allows talented athletes free use of facilities that are controlled by West Lothian Council or West Lothian Leisure, excluding access on club nights.

Applications for a scholarship pass for 2009/10 close on 28th August 2009. Further details about the application process will be available in early August.
