The club was represented in the Scottish East District Cross Country Relay Championships by four junior teams. The event was held last Sunday at a challenging course in Peebles.

The teams were mixed age group with 3 athletes per team and every athlete running a 2.5K lap.

The junior girls team of Isla Calvert, Sarah Calvert and Hannah Mairs finished 6th in 32:51. The other girls team of Rebecca Calder, Rachel Gibb and Nikki Kinghorn were 13th in 36:17.

Isla Calvert's individual time of 10:20 was the fastest u13 girls time for the course!

The junior boys team of Aidan Brady, Fraser Morris and Alastair White were 23rd in 31:53. The other boys of Matthew Boules and Oliver Threlfall didn't finish but were placed 28th at the final changeover.

Well done to everyone competed. Both individually and as team the performances, effort and results were fantastic!
