The National Cross Country Championships were held last Saturday at Callendar Park, Falkirk, with four Livingston athletes competing.

In the under 13 boys race, Calum McLean was the club's fastest finisher, crossing the line in 107th place with a time of 15:56 for the 3.2 km course. Scott Malcom finished just 6 places behind, coming 113th with a time of 16:19.

Robyn McDowall, in her first cross country appearance for the club this season, finished 61st in the under 20 womens race, with a time of 21:09 for the 4.8 km course.

In the senior women's event, Sue McDowall finished 103rd out of 142 athletes, completing the 8.0 km course in 38:20.
