On the weekend of 22/23 August, seven Livingston athletes were in action at Meadowmill, Tranent, for the first weekend of the Scottish Athletics National Open Series.
Following the distancing regulations, all track events were limited to 3 athletes, run entirely in lanes, and with empty lanes between athletes. Field pools were also restricted in size.
In the 800m races, Carly Smith ran 2:24.0, Fraser Morris ran 2:10.2 and Andrew McGill ran 2:01.2.
Moray Butler jumped 4.37m in the long jump and set a new personal best in the 150m with 21.57.
Also in the 150m, Kirsten Morris set a new personal best of 22.59 and Kirsten Bowie ran 21.10.
In the other sprint races, Ricky Arthurs ran 53.56 in the 400m, Kirsten Bowie ran 8.40 in the 60m, and Ella Watson set a wind assisted best of 8.26 in the 60m.
